Tone Control party at EP Bar, 26/11/05 w/ Aaron Roberts & Dave Lynam

On Saturday 26th November, Tone Control are proud to welcome, all the way from Phoenix, Arizona, Aaron Roberts of Grab & Greenhouse Recordings and London’s very own Dave Lynam from Soulogic to the El Paso Basement. After the disappointing cancellation of our last party following the smash with Kev Beadle in September and a frantic search for a new basement venue, we are sure the El Paso Basement is the perfect spot for another dose of Real House and Broken Beat banter, Tone Control style!
Dave Lynam is recognised as an up-and-coming talent on the London Soulful House scene. As well as his residency at Soulogic with guests like Terry Hunter, Dave has played at most of the top nights and clubs in the capital including Garage City, Bobby & Steve and Friends, How Much?, Soul City, Ministry Of Sound, Egg, Canvas and Herbal. Earlier this year Dave featured as a guest on Aaron Ross’s 1Extra radio show showing just how recognised he is. Outside of London in the last year, he’s played at Manchester ’s longest running House night, Angel Delight and internationally his DJing has taken him as far away as New Jersey , Frankfurt and Paris .
Dave has been playing records for eight years and in the last year has progressed to making them. He co-owns SEOne Studios in London Bridge. Currently he is working on a collaboration with Reel People’s Scotty Bayliss as well as some of his own solo productions, all of which are set to drop at the end of 2005. Basically we’re sure Dave’s gonna rock the Tone Control basement in his own inimitable style.
To finish off the night we welcome Aaron Roberts and his brand of chunky deep house. His residency at the highly acclaimed ‘Spliff’, better known stateside as “house music’s joint”, plays host to high caliber guests such as Jonene, Chris Lum, Ken of East Coast Boogiemen, and DeMarkus Lewis.
Recently, Aaron has been making stops throughout the Southwest United States as well as places like Chicago, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, San Diego, Portland, and south of the border in Mexico. 2005 finds Aaron’s hard work in the studio making its way to dance floors around the world with tracks like his chunky groove, ‘On a Rant’, on Grab Recordings’s ‘People Movers 3’ release. Coming up, look for Aaron’s highly anticipated ‘Hot and Sunny’ EP on Greenhouse, another set for release on the hot new Nashville label Photo Records, as well as countless projects in development. With a continually developing list of credits, we're sure those feet are gonna appreciate a taste of this Phoenix house don!
With all this plus support from Tone Control residents Tom Greig and Rich Sands, it's set to be another killa basement party! See yer there!
