Tone Control party at Public Life, 17/12/04

After the success of the last party & just in time for xmas, we are pleased to invite y'all to the next instalment of Tone Control musical antics at Public Life, Friday 17th December from 9-Late...and for those you feelin’ the xmas squeeze its just £3!

For this meagre fee you'll get to hear exclusive new Tone Control material spun by Simon Finnegan & Maaga Marcus along side the soulful vocals of Lady J, not forgetting the usual aural pleasure from your trusty DJ's Richie Sands & Tom Greig (giving you a hint of whats to come in his NYE Soul City set). But that's not all... on top of all this we are pleased to invite our special guest Sarah Sweeney to the turntables!

Sarah is a Chibuku Shake Shake resident at their Liverpool and London nights. She has also guested at The Bomb in Nottingham, jazz hideout Do it Fluid in Northampton and Guys and Dolls in Paris, She's warmed up for Gilles Peterson, London Elektricity, DJ Patiffe, DJ Dexter, The Underwolves, Pedro Winter, Roots Manuva and Landslide.

Sarah plays a funked up blend of dance music from House through Jazz influenced grooves to HipHop - A perfect mix for the Tone Control vibe!
